In Seattle

I made it to Seattle... but I have no idea where to start looking! I'm going to need your help, again!

  1. Hey Ainsley, after jumping through Emma's hoops I noticed that aside from that scanned airline ticket, she has some other weird image associated with it. Does it mean anything to you off the top of your head?

  2. Hmm... a weird image? I can't imagine what it could mean. Although, Emma has been very mysterious and secretive through this whole thing. It's very unlike her.

  3. Did anything stand out in her room aside from that note she left?

  4. Hi Mary - I've been spending my days asking about my sister at the inns, hotels, motels and bed and breakfasts in the area. But no luck so far - I have no idea where she could be. It's possible I've missed where she's staying or someone is keeping quiet. So, I'd appreciate any help you and your friends can give me on that end! I'll keep trying over here. - A.W.

  5. Hey it's weird that you found that note about ciphers and codes. There might be something we're missing here. Something's coded, but her facebook and blog seem clean.

Anybody else see something I'm not seeing?

  6. Mary - I agree. It is weird. Emma's room back home could hardly be considered "tidy," but that was the only out-of-place item I found. Good luck. I hope that you all find something! I'll keep looking here!

  7. Okay that image along with the plane ticket is definitely a clue to something. That link you found in her room is proof that she's covered something in a code. I'm convinced that image is the code. It's the key to something that I'm guessing has to do with Boulders and Boats.

...that's all I came up with :( Sorry Ainsley! She left a doozy of a puzzle.

  8. Okay I been thinking about this all weekend, and I had an idea. That image has some odd phrase on it, and it also has the Boulders and Boats Adventures emblem on it. The Boulders and Boats site has a lot of different webpages associated with it, but you can't navigate to them all from the main page I noticed.

Maybe that phrase on the image is some kind of path we need to follow on the website. I tried using the phrase itself, but it didn't work and that's probably because there is something to do with that "secret code" or "cipher" she pointed out in that link you found in her room.

I'm gonna go for it tonight. I actually think I'm on to something.

  9. Don't forget about the zipper. I would be surprised if that was a red-herring.

  10. I think the biggest clue to the puzzle is Ainsley's remark - "there must be something all those words have in common."

  11. Jackpot -

Pieubrecht, the airline Emma took, is an anagram for TUBE CIPHER. Now we need to know a diameter for a tube.

  13. Also, if you take the slogan, and remove all the letters that appear an even number of times, you get ceghikosw. An anagram for gecko wish! (I dont think that is the real solution.)

  14. Oh my god, I found something! I think I'm on to it finally! Check this link out!

Yes, "Sale". I tried "Sail", but it wasn't working. But this could be connected completely. I'm too tired to go forward, but that's where I got tonight!

  15. Well done!

The full address, after navigating through, is: http://bouldersandboatsadventures.com/Sale/Aweigh/Wile/Gnu/Awed/Cents/Wreak/Threw/Yore/heir.zip

I briefly contemplated synonyms, but I couldn't think of one for 'odd' or 'new'.

  16. I've looked through the file. Ainsley, you should look for the Emerald City Pier Hotel, that's where Emma's been staying. Plus, you might want to look through the rest of the files in the zip.
