Things are good, for now...

Emma and I talked to each other. And she convinced me to call her new friend, Aggie, who works for some detective agency called Dirk and Steele.

Aggie seems to think that I see the past of our immediate surroundings and Emma sees the future. Where she’ll see buildings wasting away, I’ll see lush virgin forests. As hard as it is to wrap my mind around it… I think she’s right. We have some kind of weird brain… THING. It doesn't seem possible... No idea how that rock caused it, no idea if it’ll ever go away.

Emma also talked to an odd old woman who seems to know something about the man we’re looking for (even though she was vague, cryptic and didn’t speak much English… or pretended she didn’t). She was at the Pan Jia Yuan Dirt Market… but as far as we can tell, she’s not there anymore. Just disappeared.

We did find out that there’s another American staying in the hotel… a famous metal artist named Dela Reese. We walked by her in the lobby - according to Emma her future looked strange, different than the others. And she looked FUZZY to me. I can't describe it any other way. It was very odd, though.

And finally – the man that we’re looking for. We KNOW he came to Beijing. We think he knew the old woman at the Dirt Market. Beyond that, we have no idea where he went. Honestly, I’m just happy I found Emma – now that our visions aren’t quite so intense, we're going to see if there’s some way to control it - it's still maddening and a bit crazy. Maybe we'll enlist Aggie's help since she seems to know SOMETHING. Once we’ve done that, we’ll go back to looking for him… and we’ll definitely enlist your help. Thank you again. I couldn't have done it without you.

I found her! She is staying at the China World Mall! Emma was scared to come near me, but I told her I’d already accidentally handled the artifact. Big hug! And after that, we’re both feeling a bit better. It’s strange… things are suddenly much more bearable.

I'm going to talk to Emma now. See what she's been up to.

Someone mentioned the China World Mall. I'm headed there now. Will update you as soon as I can.

Now I'm feeling crazy!

Things are moving in reverse. I’m seeing strange things… I feel like I’m going crazy. This must be exactly how Emma felt. I need to find her, like NOW.

Not so good morning...

I hardly slept. I had dream after dream. Weird dreams. People in clothes from the 70's and 80's. People I've never seen before. If that's what my subconscious comes up with... I should NOT be a fashion designer.

I had a dream about Emma and the man who gave her the stone. He’s handsome (and really creepy at the same time) with green eyes.

May be slow responding...

You guys… I’m not feeling so well. Might be slow in responding. Gonna go lie down.

OK - I found the hotel!!

I told the front desk guy that I wanted "my" old room back. He assumed I was Emma... being identical twins came in handy for once. I found some photos that Ainsley left behind. I'll post them to my facebook account as soon as I can find a scanner, so you can check them out. What could it mean? I also found a little carved stone... the artifact maybe?

Back on Emma's Trail

Some folks found out where Emma was staying. And... she was having some WEIRD conversations with someone named Aggie??? I'm headed to her hotel. Will let you know what I find.

In Seattle

I made it to Seattle... but I have no idea where to start looking! I'm going to need your help, again!

I’m headed on my way there now. Please let me know if you guys find any more information as to where she is. It’s not a small city!
